Overview

Study Hub is the University of Melbourne's most heavily trafficked site and a critical student recruitment tool, driving over $1B in revenue annually.

It contains course and general information for prospective domestic and international students and is a primary gateway for enrolment applications.

I have been involved with Study Hub since its initial project phase, with responsibilities for:

  • Developing components, pages and page templates to cover ~466 courses and ~114 majors and specialisations across 3600+ pages
  • Ongoing business-as-usual responsibilities as part of the product team for Study, including feature and accessibility improvements, design uplift, and marketing campaigns like Open Day
  • Ownership of the design system that powers Study Hub

Achievements

  • System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 82 at launch, with a score of 80+ being considered excellent usability
  • Study Hub consolidated over 96 websites of information, resulting in it becoming the University's highest trafficked website within a month of launch
  • Award winner: the Study Hub project received the annual University Services Award for Service Excellence in 2018
